Overview
The Klein Tools Ratcheting Fastbit Tru-Grip Screwdriver, Phillips and Slotted (32960ARCHT) combines a ratcheting ball-style handle with Klein's Fastbit quick-change system. This is a ratcheting screwdriver designed for faster manual driving of Phillips and slotted screws, and for anyone who wants one handle that accepts the 1/4" hex bits already in their bag.
The removable double-ended shaft carries a Phillips #2 tip on one end and a 1/4" (6 mm) slotted tip on the other. Flip it end to end in seconds. The shaft is 5-15/16" (15 cm) long, hex shank, sandblasted carbon steel, and Klein says it meets or exceeds ASME and ISO standards.
The ratchet offers forward, fixed and reverse settings. Ratcheting lets you keep the handle in your hand and drive continuously, which is faster on long screws and easier on the wrist, and the fixed setting gives a solid feel for breaking screws loose or final tightening.
The Fastbit collar is what makes the handle flexible. Pull the collar down to release the bit, and a ball bearing locking system automatically secures the next bit with no collar manipulation. Klein says it works with most 1/4" hex bits longer than 1-1/2", including impact bits, power bits and specialty bits, which eliminates the need for multiple screwdriver handles.
The Tru-Grip handle is rubber and plastic in black and yellow, 4-9/16" (11.7 cm) long and 1-9/16" (4 cm) in diameter. Overall length is 8-1/2" (21.6 cm) and it weighs 6.7 oz (190 g). It is not insulated and not magnetic.
Who should buy it: electricians, installers and maintenance techs who want ratcheting speed and a handle that takes their power and impact bits.

Pro Tip
Short insert bits under 1-1/2" will not lock in this handle. Grab 2" power bits for the profiles you use most and the Fastbit handle becomes your whole driver kit.
