The Klein 1-5/8-in. Quick-Adjust Tubing Cutter (50061) is a hand tubing cutter for copper and aluminum tubing. It handles tubing from 1/8 in. to 1-5/8 in. (3 to 41 mm) outside diameter and works on tubing up to 1-1/2 in. (40 mm) inside diameter.
The fast-action button is the headline feature. Instead of winding the cutter open and closed for every size change, you press the button to extend it quickly, then use the contoured knob to bring the blade down for the cut. On a job with mixed tubing sizes, that adds up.
The body is zinc alloy with a high carbon steel blade. At 7.4 in. (188 mm) long, 3 in. (76 mm) wide and 1.2 in. (30 mm) tall, it is compact enough to get around tubing in tight spaces. The retractable telescoping deburring tool removes the burr after the cut, and a replacement blade (Klein 50054) stores in the knob so a worn blade does not end your day.
