Overview
The Klein 1-1/4-in. Ratcheting PVC Pipe Cutter (50063) cuts schedule 40/80 PVC, CPVC and PEX pipe up to 1-1/4 in. (31 mm) inside diameter, or 1-5/8 in. (41 mm) outside diameter. It is a plumbing hand tool built for fast, repeatable pipe cuts.
The ratcheting action is activated by pulling the handles apart, which retracts the blade and lets you reposition and keep cutting with one hand. The lightweight, soft-molded handles give a comfortable grip and added leverage, and a latch keeps the cutter securely closed in the bag or on the belt.
The body is die cast aluminum alloy with a steel blade. The blade is long-lasting and easy to replace when it wears, and the replacement blade is Klein 50064, sold separately.
If you cut a lot of PVC, CPVC or PEX, a ratcheting cutter is faster and cleaner than a hacksaw. This is a good fit for plumbers, remodelers and serious DIYers.
