The Klein Tools Replacement Blade for Compact PEX Pipe and Tubing Cutter (50076) is a single reversible replacement blade for Klein's compact PEX cutter. This is a PEX cutter blade designed specifically for the Klein Tools 1-1/4-Inch Compact PEX Pipe and Tubing Cutter (Cat. No. 50072), used for cutting PEX pipe in plumbing and irrigation work.
The blade is reversible. When one edge dulls, flip it over and use the second edge, which extends usable blade life before you need another. A sharp blade matters on PEX: a dull one crushes the tube out of round, and an out-of-round end does not seat correctly in a fitting.
Blade exchange takes a Phillips #2 screwdriver. The blade is about 4-1/8" (10.5 cm) long, 15/16" (2.4 cm) wide and 5/64" (2 mm) thick, with a matte finish, and supports the cutter's full 1-1/4" (31.8 mm) capacity. It is not designed to be sharpened.
