The Klein Tools MODbox 4-Wheel Caster Dolly with Interlocking Design (54828MB) is a rolling base for MODbox storage. This is a caster dolly designed to turn any MODbox with cleats into a mobile workstation, and to combine with other dollies into a bigger platform when one footprint is not enough.
The dolly connects to any MODbox with cleats. Load a box or a full stack on top and move it around the jobsite on four 4" (10.2 cm) wheels. Each dolly supports up to 250 lb (113.4 kg).
Loading is where the brake pedal earns its keep. Step on it and the dolly stays put while you lower a heavy MODbox onto it, which makes mounting easier and more controlled. Once loaded, the two front casters have on/off locks: unlocked for transport, locked to hold the stack in place as a workstation.
Klein's interlocking design is the standout. Side and back latches let up to four dollies connect into one larger base for expanded storage and transport. The wheels have two positions: inboard when interlocking, so the dollies sit close together, and outboard for more stability when a dolly is used on its own.
