Visibility is handled two ways. The center window is a large 15.3 sq in (98.7 sq cm) True Color auto-darkening filter adjustable from shade 3 to 14 in half-shade increments, for precise matching to the welding process. Two fixed shade 9 side windows extend peripheral vision, which matters on pipe, overhead and out-of-position work. Large external buttons control the fan, light and grind settings, so you can switch modes without removing the helmet or your gloves. A multi-point suspension with a ratchet knob and padded sweatband gives a comfortable, adjustable fit for hat sizes 6-1/2 to 8, and the helmet can mount to a hard hat with an optional headmount accessory.
