The Klein Heated Base Layer Vest, 2X-Large (60956) is a battery-heated vest designed to wear under a jacket or other outerwear on cold jobsites. It is a lightweight, low-profile layer that adds warmth without restricting movement.
Four heating panels cover the left and right front chest, the upper back and the lower back. A slim lithium-ion battery rides inside the vest, and a single button cycles through three heat settings: about 4 hours on high, 6 on medium and 12 on low.
The shell is 96% polyester and 4% spandex with a 100% polyester inner liner, with a weather-resistant softshell exterior. There are four pockets (three outside, one inside), a zipper front and an adjustable waist cinch. This size fits a 49 to 50 in. (1240 to 1270 mm) chest.
It is machine washable, but remove the battery first. Use it only with the Klein battery pack Model 60957, as the vest's warnings require. It is a good pick for tradespeople who work outside in winter.
