The Klein Tools KNECT Pass-Through and Flip Socket Starter Set, SAE, 23-Piece (65301KNECT) is an entry point into Klein's KNECT driving and fastening system. This is a 1/4" drive socket set designed for electricians, mechanical and low-voltage installers who drive nuts on threaded rod, strut and equipment. It combines pass-through sockets, flip sockets, impact driver bits, a ratchet, a Cushion-Grip handle and adapters in one MODbox case.
The pass-through sockets are the reason to own a KNECT set. Their slim, open-back heads let threaded rod pass straight through the socket, so you can run a nut down a long piece of all-thread with a standard-depth socket. The six SAE sizes are 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2" and 9/16", all 6-point with color-coded bands for quick identification.
Three SAE flip sockets add a second size on each socket for more coverage in less space, and they run on the included flip socket adapter. Seven driver bits ride in the same case.
The KNECT adapters connect the system to your other tools: an impact adapter for running sockets on an impact driver, a 1/4" square adapter, and a 3" extension. The included ratchet and Cushion-Grip handle drive the sockets by hand.
Sockets are cold-forged Cr-Mo steel with a manganese phosphate finish and are impact rated for high-torque applications.
