The Klein Tools Insulated Hooded Screw Holding Screwdriver Set, 6-Piece (85156KINS) puts six 1000-volt insulated, screw-holding screwdrivers in one purchase. This is an insulated screwdriver set designed for electricians and maintenance crews who drive Phillips, square and slotted screws on or near energized equipment.
Each driver uses Klein's hooded screw-holding design: a sleeve slides forward over the screw head and grips it mechanically, so you can start a screw with one hand in a confined space. Klein went mechanical because magnetism is not dependable on live work. Retract the sleeve and the driver works like any other screwdriver.
The six tips cover the screws electricians actually meet: Phillips #1 and #2, square #1 and #2, and 3/16" and 1/4" slotted. The Phillips #2, square #2 and 1/4" slotted drivers are also sold individually as Klein Cat. Nos. 32216INS, 32214INS and 32215INS.
Every driver carries bright orange impact- and flame-resistant insulation rated for 1000V and meeting or exceeding ASTM F1505-16(2021). Shanks are 7" (17.8 cm) round, and the black rubber Cushion-Grip handles are 4-5/16" (10.9 cm) long and 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) in diameter with a non-slip design for added torque and comfort.
