Overview
The Klein Tools Bluetooth Behind-the-Head Earmuffs (model AESBH1) are Bluetooth hearing protection earmuffs designed for workers who wear a hard hat or cap. This is a behind-the-head earmuff designed for noisy jobsites where you also want music or phone calls.
The band sits behind the head instead of over the top, so it stays out of the way of a hard hat or cap. The cups pivot, so they can rest around your neck when you do not need them. A low-profile, lightweight build keeps them comfortable for all-day wear, and the extendable headband arms let you adjust the fit.
Angled soft foam cushions create the acoustic seal for a 23 dB noise reduction rating (ANSI S3.19-1974). Audio runs through 1-3/16 in (30 mm) drivers with a maximum volume of 78 dBA, and Bluetooth 5.2 handles music and calls.
The 750 mAh lithium-ion battery runs 70 hours per charge and recharges over USB-C in about 3 hours. The muffs are rated IP54 and survive a 6.6 ft (2 m) drop. A dust bag is included for storage.
These earmuffs fit electricians, linemen, carpenters and anyone who runs loud equipment under a hard hat and wants hearing protection that works with the rest of their gear.
