The Klein Tools Long Ball-End Hex Key Set, SAE and Metric, 22 Pieces (model BLS22H) is an L-style hex key set that combines common inch and metric sizes. This is a hand tool set designed for tightening and loosening hex screws and bolts.
The set pairs the BLS12 SAE set with the BLS10M metric set. SAE sizes run 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 in. Metric sizes are 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 mm.
The keys are CR-V steel, heat-treated and tempered, with a black phosphate finish for rust resistance. Key lengths run from 3 in to 7 in (76 to 178 mm), and the ball ends work at angles up to 25 degrees.
It weighs 26.88 oz (762 g). A mechanic, maintenance tech or installer who bounces between inch and metric hardware can carry both in one bag. Do not use a pipe or extension for leverage. The keys are not insulated.
