The Klein Tools Straight Jaw Quick-Adjust Pump Pliers, 10-Inch (D50510BS) is a general purpose slip-joint pump plier with a quick-adjust joint. This is a pump plier designed for gripping and turning nuts, fittings, conduit connectors and pipe in electrical, plumbing and maintenance work. The straight jaws give multiple points of contact for maximum torque and a secure hold.
The quick-adjust joint is the time saver. Instead of walking the jaw through each channel, press the button and slide the jaw to the size you need, one-handed. There are 13 jaw positions with a maximum jaw capacity of 2-1/8" (5.4 cm).
Directional teeth on the gripping surface are hardened and angled to bite in the direction of the turn, which reduces wear on the teeth and gives a strong, positive hold. The jaws are 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) long and 5/16" (0.8 cm) wide and thick, part of the compact, narrow design that gets into small or hard-to-reach spaces.
