The Klein Tools Compact Combustible Gas Leak Detector (ET190) is a pen-style detector for finding combustible gas leaks. This is a combustible gas leak detector designed for checking gas lines, fittings and appliances quickly, with a detection range from 50 to 2000 ppm.
That range covers both minor and major leaks. Low-level detection at 50 ppm catches a weeping fitting, and the upper end tells you when you are dealing with something bigger. A High and Low sensitivity toggle lets you tune detection to the environment and reduce false alarms when you are pinpointing a source.
Alerts are both visual and audible. Multi-level LED indicators and escalating audible tones give instant feedback, so you know you are getting closer to a leak even in a loud mechanical room or a dark crawlspace. Klein also lists a work light.
