Overview
The Knipex 9K 00 80 191 US 3-Piece 2026 Holiday TwinGrip Gift Set packs the 6-in. (82 01 150) and 10-in. (82 01 250) Knipex TwinGrip slip-joint pliers with a 2026 TwinGrip snowflake ornament. TwinGrip is a gripping plier designed for removing stripped, rounded and damaged screws and bolts. Model number 9K 00 80 191 US is a seasonal set built for gifting.
What makes TwinGrip different is that it grips in two directions. The front jaw bites down on the head of a stripped fastener from above, which is how you get out a screw that sits flush or a bolt with no flats left. The side jaw has opposing teeth that grip round, square and hex stock the way a regular plier would.
Adjustment is push-button and it holds its setting, so the jaw does not slip open while you work. The 6-in. pliers have 3 adjustment positions and grip 1/8 in. to 5/8 in. The 10-in. pliers have 7 positions and grip 3/16 in. to 1-1/16 in. A slim head gets into confined spaces, and a three-point contact system holds flat workpieces securely.
Both pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, with teeth hardened to approximately 61 HRC so they keep biting into hardened fasteners. Box-joint construction keeps the jaws stable under load, a pinch guard protects your fingers, and the handles are non-slip plastic. Jaws are polished with a black atramentized finish. The pliers are made in Germany.
This set is for mechanics, maintenance techs, plumbers, cyclists and serious DIYers who deal with fasteners that have already been chewed up. It also works as a gift for someone who has every standard plier but has not tried TwinGrip yet.

Pro Tip
On a stripped bolt, set the adjustment so the front jaw just clears the head, then squeeze hard before you turn. Full clamp pressure first is what lets the 61 HRC teeth bite instead of skating.
Tool Nut's Take
The Fastener Rescue Kit, Gift-Wrapped
The Knipex 9K 00 80 191 US holiday set gives you the two TwinGrip sizes that cover most stripped-fastener jobs, plus an ornament.
- Who it's for: Mechanics, maintenance techs and DIYers who keep running into rounded heads.
- Why it stands out: Front-and-side gripping is something a standard slip-joint or water pump plier cannot do.
- Worth knowing: It is a seasonal 2026 set. The ornament is dated, so this is a one-year item.
Common Questions
- What size fasteners can this set handle? The 6-in. pliers grip 1/8 in. to 5/8 in., and the 10-in. pliers grip 3/16 in. to 1-1/16 in.
- Can TwinGrip remove a screw that is flush with the surface? The front jaw is designed to grip the head of a stripped screw or bolt from the front, which is how it removes fasteners a standard plier cannot reach from the side.
- Does the adjustment slip during use? No. Push-button adjustment locks the jaw setting until you press the button again.
