The Makita XPG01ZK 18V LXT Cordless Grease Gun with 47-1/4 inch hose and case is a battery-powered grease gun for lubricating fittings on heavy equipment, farm machinery, trucks and shop equipment. This is a cordless grease gun designed for equipment maintenance and fleet service, and model XPG01ZK is sold as a tool only with a hard plastic case, hose and shoulder strap. Battery and charger are not included.
The Makita-built motor delivers up to 10,000 PSI of maximum pressure and a maximum flow rate of up to 10 fluid ounces per minute. In practical terms, it has the pressure to push grease through tight or partially plugged fittings and the flow to move quickly from one fitting to the next on a full service.
Two speed modes give you control. Low mode is for smaller fittings and careful work. Auto-Speed mode varies the flow rate to match the resistance of the part being greased, so it slows down when the fitting pushes back and speeds up when it does not. A variable speed trigger controls the discharge rate, and a lock-on button lets you hold output during longer work periods.
The 47-1/4 inch flexible hose with coupler improves access to hard-to-reach fittings. An air bleed valve helps prime the pump faster after a cartridge change, and twin LED lights with a separate switch light up the work area. A stand-up design lets the grease gun sit upright on the floor or tailgate, and the shoulder strap frees your hands while you move around a machine.
The XPG01ZK runs on Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries with the Star symbol and uses Star Protection Computer Controls to help protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. Weight is 11.3 pounds with battery.
