The Makita T-10285 Impact XPS 100-Pc. Impact Driving Bit Set is an impact-rated driver bit set designed for high-torque impact drivers and driver-drills. It comes in a clear-lid, low-profile case with laser-marked bit bars that connects to Makita's MAKTRAK modular storage system.
The set includes (66) 1" insert bits, (24) 2" power bits, (3) 3" power bits, (2) 6" power bits, (2) 1-3/4" magnetic nutsetters, (1) 2-3/8" magnetic insert bit holder, (1) 1/4" socket adapter and (1) Mag Boost.
Impact XPS bits are engineered to survive hard-hitting impact drivers. Precision machined tips give a full-contact fit in the fastener, Torque Absorbing Shoulder Power Rings move torque from the tip into the torsion zone, and an optimized torsion zone flexes to absorb impact energy. Makita rates the bits to last up to 100X longer than standard impact bits.
The Mag Boost slides onto a power bit and delivers up to 10X stronger magnetic hold, which helps on overhead work and one-handed starts. The magnetic nutsetters use a lobular design that drives on the flats of hex heads to reduce rounding. The insert bit holder has a two-piece design that lets the torsion technology work fully, and the socket adapter has chamfered edges for easy socket installation.
A matte nickel finish resists corrosion, and every bit is laser etched with its size.
