The Makita T-09787 Impact XPS 23-Pc. 3/8" Drive 6-Point Metric and SAE Impact Socket Set is an impact socket set designed for high-torque fastening with impact drivers, impact wrenches, ratchets and adapters. It comes in a low-profile case that connects to Makita's MAKTRAK modular storage system.
You get 22 standard-depth sockets and an adapter: SAE sizes 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16" and 7/8"; metric sizes 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm and 21 mm; and a 3/8" drive 3" socket adapter so you can run the sockets from a 1/4" hex impact driver.
The 6-point design grips the flats of a fastener instead of the corners, which reduces rounding under impact. Sockets are made from heat-treated alloy steel with a precisely calibrated heat treating process for durability, and a black oxide finish resists corrosion.
Sizes are laser etched for quick identification, and the sockets meet ASME industry standards.
