Overview
The Micro Jig GRR-RIPPER 200AIR 3D Pushblock (model GR-200AIR) takes MicroJig's AIR-generation push block and equips it for bigger and more demanding work. This is a push block designed for safely ripping, routing and jointing on table saws, router tables, jointers and band saws, with added hardware to handle wider stock and narrow parts over exposed router bits.
Everything in the 100AIR is here: three directions of force, X-AIR Heels on every leg, the SafeRip center tunnel and the Green GRR-RIP grip. Downward pressure keeps the board flat, inward pressure pins it to the fence and forward pressure feeds it evenly. Holding both sides of the cut parallel to the blade is what virtually eliminates kickback.
The difference is two upgrades in the box. The Adjustable Spacer grows the gripping surface by 54% and adds about an inch of cutting width, so the 200AIR can span wider boards without losing grip. The Stabilizing Plate adds 250% more stabilizing surface, which gives you real control over small, narrow parts and over stock passing across an exposed router bit. All the extra mounting hardware (T-bolts, wing knobs, shoulder washers and O-rings) comes with it.
The X-AIR Heels are built into each leg. They compress and flex while the stock moves, then drop down to hook the tail end of the board so you keep forward pressure right through the end of the cut. The SafeRip Center Leg lets the blade pass through a tunnel while the legs on either side keep pressure on both the keeper and the off-cut, and the SafeRip cursor makes Center Leg placement repeatable.
The body is made from high-impact plastic that absorbs force if it contacts the blade rather than shattering, and it will not trigger a SawStop sensor. The Green GRR-RIP tread grips hardwoods, softwoods, composites, plastics and aluminum, and cleans up with denatured or rubbing alcohol. Every part is replaceable and compatible across the GRR-RIPPER line.
The 200AIR is the right pick for woodworkers who regularly rip a range of widths or do a lot of router table work on small parts. If you also want the 1/8-in. Leg, Gravity Heels, Handle Bridge and Deflector/Connector, the 300AIR packages all of them together.
Two Hands, Total Control
Long stock is where single push blocks fall short. Two 200AIRs let you feed hand over hand without stopping, so the blade never sits in one spot and burns the edge.
- Continuous feed reduces burning and blade marks
- Hands stay above and behind the guarded path of the blade
Three Directions of Force
The 200AIR holds the board down, pins it to the fence and pushes it forward at the same time, keeping both halves of the cut parallel to the blade.
- Inward pressure against the fence virtually eliminates kickback
- Downward pressure keeps thin stock from lifting or chattering
Grip Through the Final Inch
X-AIR Heels flex up during the cut and snap down at the end of the board, so the pushblock never loses its hold as the cut finishes.
- Built into every leg
- No separate Gravity Heel kit required

Pro Tip
Mount the Stabilizing Plate whenever you're working small parts over an exposed router bit. The extra surface keeps the pushblock from rocking on narrow stock, which is exactly when a part wants to dive into the bit.

Tool Nut's Take
Micro Jig GRR-RIPPER 200AIR 3D Pushblock: The Sweet Spot of the AIR Line
The Micro Jig GRR-RIPPER 200AIR adds the two pieces most people end up buying anyway: the Stabilizing Plate and the Adjustable Spacer.
- Who it's for: Furniture and cabinet makers ripping a range of widths and doing regular router table work on small parts.
- Why it stands out: 54% more grip, 250% more stabilizing surface and built-in X-AIR Heels in one box.
- Worth knowing: No 1/8-in. Leg or Handle Bridge here. If you want every accessory, the 300AIR is the complete package.
Common Questions
- Will it trip the sensor on my SawStop? No. The plastic material will not trigger the SawStop safety mechanism.
- Why would I need two? For stock longer than your saw table. Two GRR-RIPPERs let you feed continuously, hand over hand, for a cleaner cut.
- Will it work on my table saw? It works on any standard table saw with a fence and a blade.
- How do I restore the grip? Clean the Green GRR-RIP surface with denatured alcohol and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight.
