Overview
The Sauter OFL3.0 Pivoting Router Lift (MicroJig model MJ-PRL-OFL3.0) is a German-engineered router lift that tilts the router, and the bit, to any angle from -5 to +50 degrees. This is a pivoting router lift designed for router tables, giving you shaper-style angled cutting with the bits you already own. MicroJig is the exclusive US distributor.
Tilting the bit changes what every bit in your drawer can do. A straight bit becomes a chamfer bit at any angle. Profile bits produce a new shape at every setting. Slot cutters cut spline joints at the exact angle of your staves for coopered work. Bits designed to run at an angle finally run the way they were meant to. Snap-in presets at 15, 22.5, 30 and 45 degrees lock in the angles you use most, and a vernier scale dials in anything else across the full range quickly and accurately.
It's still a full-featured router lift when it's sitting flat. It provides fast, accurate height adjustment with secure locking and 3.94 in. (100 mm) of travel. When tilted, the lift travels fore and aft to keep the bit centered in the throat opening, so bit changes and adjustments stay as easy as on a standard lift. Every adjustment, including tilt, travel and height, is tool-free.
MicroJig sells it as a complete system. A Swiss-made 2 HP variable-speed router motor running 3,500 to 30,000 RPM is included, along with 1/4-in. and 1/2-in. collets and the wrenches to use them. Three magnetic throat plates keep the opening matched to the work and swap in seconds between straight and tilted operations. An under-mounted dust shield sits beneath the lift and captures dust at the source, working with a fence dust port such as the one on JessEm's Mast-R-Fence.
The machined-aluminum lift plate measures 9-1/4 x 11-3/4 x 3/8 in. and has leveling screws to sit dead flush. It drops into the standard 11-3/4 x 9-1/4 in. opening found on commercial and shop-built tables, with confirmed fit in tops from Harvey, Infinity Tools, Peachtree, Woodpeckers, Rockler, Kreg and Incra.
This is for serious furniture makers, cabinet shops and woodworkers who want angled-cut capability without buying a shaper. If you already own a quality router table and a drawer full of bits, the OFL3.0 multiplies what that setup can produce.

Pro Tip
If your table is a Kreg Precision Router Table Top (PRS1025 or PRS1045), plan on Kreg's PRS3034 levelers to seat the plate; the other listed tops use a standard rebate. Check your plate opening is the standard 11-3/4 x 9-1/4 in. before ordering.

- Why it stands out: -5 to +50 degree tilt with repeatable presets, tool-free adjustment and a Swiss 2 HP motor included.
- Worth knowing: It's a premium tool. Make sure your table has the standard 11-3/4 x 9-1/4 in. opening first.
Common Questions
- Does it do everything a normal router lift does? Yes. It provides fast, accurate height adjustment with secure locking and 3.94 in. (100 mm) of travel, then adds the ability to tilt the bit up to 50 degrees.
- Is a router motor included? Yes. It comes as a complete system with a 2 HP variable-speed router motor (3,500 to 30,000 RPM), 1/4-in. and 1/2-in. collets and wrenches.
- Do I need special bits? No. Tilting multiplies the bits you already own: straight bits cut chamfers and angled grooves, and slot cutters make angled spline joints.
- What are the three throat plates for? They're magnetic and keep the opening matched to the work, so you can swap between straight and tilted operations in seconds.
- Will it fit my router table? If your table has a standard 11-3/4 x 9-1/4 in. plate opening, yes. The aluminum plate includes leveling screws to sit flush.
