Overview
The Pica Dry Summer Leads Refill Set (model 4071/SB) is a 10-pack of heat-resistant replacement leads for the Pica Dry longlife automatic pencil marker, packed in a hanging blister. These are refill leads designed for marking construction materials in high temperatures.
Standard colored leads can soften in summer heat. These summer leads stay stable up to 158°F (70°C) and leave waterproof marks, which makes them the right refill for roofers, framers and anyone whose markers ride in a hot vehicle.
Each pack holds 10 leads: 5 red and 5 white. Every lead is 2.8 mm in diameter and 5" (125 mm) long, matched to the Pica Dry 3030 marker. They mark wood, wet wood, stone, brick, metal, plastic and tile. They are not made for glossy or glass-smooth surfaces.
Load them from the back of the Pica Dry to protect the advance mechanism.
