Overview
The Pica 505 Pocket is a pencil holster and sharpener for carpenters, masons, framers and site managers who mark with thick wooden pencils. This is a pocket pencil holder designed for carrying, protecting and sharpening carpenter and mason pencils on the job. Model Number: 505. This is the holster only; the pencil is sold separately.
A clamping function locks the pencil in the holster, and the reinforced clip keeps it in your pocket or on your belt. You can stow and grab the pencil without looking away from the workpiece.
The built-in carbon steel blade sharpens the pencil right from the holster. A safety stop bar limits cut depth so you do not hack away too much wood or break the lead.
The holster is 195 mm long and accepts oval, flat-oval, black-edge, triangular and hexagonal pencils of any length, down to a short stub.
Buy it if you are tired of losing carpenter pencils and sharpening them with a utility knife.
