Overview
The Pica BIG Dry Summer Leads Refill Set (model 6071/SB) is a 12-pack of heat-resistant replacement leads for the Pica BIG Dry longlife construction marker, packed in a hanging blister. These are refill leads designed for heavy construction marking in high temperatures.
The leads stay stable up to 158°F (70°C) and leave waterproof marks. That is what you want on a roof, a foundation pour or a framing deck in midsummer, where ordinary colored leads soften.
Each pack holds 12 leads: 8 yellow and 4 red. The leads are 6" (150 mm) long with a 2 x 5 mm flat profile, the same format the Pica BIG Dry uses for bold carpenter-style lines. They mark wood, wet wood, stone, brick, metal, plastic and tile. They are not made for glossy or glass-smooth surfaces.
These fit the Pica BIG Dry 6060 only. They do not fit the standard Pica Dry.
Bold Lines in Hot Weather
