The Pica 522/52 Instant White Permanent Marker Pen is a white permanent marking pen for anyone who needs visible layout marks on surfaces where darker ink does not show well. This is a permanent marker pen designed for marking and writing on most surfaces. Model Number: 522/52.

What matters here is simple: contrast. White ink gives you a clear mark on darker materials, painted surfaces, and mixed-finish workpieces where a standard black or blue marker can get lost. If you are laying out cuts, marking placement points, or labeling material temporarily during a job, visible marks save time and reduce second-guessing.

The stated 1-4 mm tip range gives this marker some versatility. You can use a lighter touch for more controlled lines, then open the line up when you need something bolder and easier to spot from a step back. That makes it useful for both finer marking and quick, readable jobsite notes.

Pica positions this as an instant white permanent marker pen that marks on most surfaces. For a marker in this category, that broad surface usability is the main reason to buy it. You are not just getting white ink. You are getting a marking tool meant to work beyond paper and handle real-world material marking where visibility is the issue.

This is a straightforward fit for tradespeople, shop users, and serious DIYers who regularly work with darker materials or need white layout marks that are easier to read. It also makes sense for anyone keeping a dedicated marker for contrast marking instead of trying to force a standard marker to do a job it is not suited for.
