- Can be set to provide either a 3/4-in. offset from screw head to wood surface or to drive screw flush with wood surface
- 3/8-in. x 5-in. quick-release predrill bit is ideal for predrilling top plates prior to SDPW Deflector screw installation
- 3/8-in. quick-release predrill bit fits most driver motors
- Designed for use with the SDPW Deflector screw bit extension, model PW18EXT (sold separately)
The Strong-Drive SDPW Deflector Screw from Simpson Strong-Tie is a premium structural fastening solution for connecting non-load-bearing walls to trusses and joists. The offset driver bit kits replace key accessories that support installations using the Strong-Drive SDPW Deflector screw. Each kit contains two offset driver bits and one 3/8-in. quick-release predrill bit.
