The Stabila 83010 is a 3-pack of STABILA Type 600 6-ft. Modular Spacing folding rulers. This is a wooden folding rule designed for masonry layout, made for bricklayers and masons who mark and check modular brick course spacing all day and go through rules on the jobsite.

Each rule is graduated in 1/16ths on both outside edges and carries the modular spacing scale for modular brick work, so the course spacing a mason needs is right on the stick instead of being calculated on the wall. Graduations are printed on both sides of the rule, and the scale is designed to be easy to read at a glance.

The sticks are premium-quality beechwood, a stiff and stable hardwood that holds its shape over time. High-strength hinges and hardened steel springs give every joint a smooth fold and a positive lock when opened, so the rule extends straight and stays that way. A hard-wearing, weather- and abrasion-resistant paint protects the wooden sections and the scale from moisture, mortar and pocket wear.

The folding rule has deep roots at STABILA. The Ullrich brothers invented the folding rule in 1865, connected its sections with spring-loaded locking joints in 1886, and founded the company now called STABILA in 1889. The Type 600 carries that design forward with quality details you will not notice at first glance but will appreciate after years in a back pocket.

Folding rules are a consumable on a masonry crew. They get dropped off scaffolds, snapped and left behind. Buying them in a 3-pack keeps spares on hand and keeps every member of the crew working off the same STABILA scale.

This pack is the right buy for masonry contractors stocking a crew, foremen who hand out rules, and individual masons who want backups of the modular spacing rule they already rely on.
