Overview
The Swan VacQpod Set VBP200 is a pair of hollow-bodied vacuum pods for clamp-free workholding. This is a vacuum workholding pod set designed for holding boards and panels flat for routing, chiseling, sanding, planing, and finishing.
Each pod holds the workpiece with nothing but vacuum. Lay your material on the pod and it grabs almost instantly. No clamps on the edges, no hold-downs to work around, and every face of the part stays open to the tool.
There are two ways to connect. Set a pod directly over a VacQport (VQPT01) threaded through your bench and it pulls vacuum straight through with no plumbing. Or pull the plug and fit the included 1/4-in. push connector to run the pod off any vacuum source on any surface, including benches that have no port at all.
The set includes two sizes, a 3-in. x 11-in. pod and a 1-1/2-in. x 10-1/2-in. pod, both 1 in. tall. The low height lifts the part just enough to give your tool clearance around the edges. Use one pod for small parts or both together to support longer workpieces.
Seal cord for both the top and bottom faces ships with the set, so you get a clean seal against the bench below and the workpiece above.
