Key Features
Overview
The Swan VacQswitch Double VTSRV2 is a vacuum release switch for vacuum workholding, vacuum bagging, and vacuum chamber setups. This is an inline vacuum control valve designed to release a workpiece instantly without shutting down your pump.
A front-mounted toggle shuts off vacuum and vents the pressure in the line in one motion. Flip it and the workpiece is free to reposition or swap. Flip it back and the next piece locks down. On a production run, that saves real time over killing the pump and waiting for the vacuum to bleed off.
The double version puts two independent switches on one purpose-built mounting plate, so you can run two holding zones or two separate fixtures from one control point. Each switch has two 1/4-in. push-connect ports, an inlet and an outlet, for the 1/4-in. airline used across Swan Tool Group's air tools.
An integrated exhaust muffler and filter handles venting, so releasing vacuum doesn't blast noise or dust into the shop.
This is the control piece of the VacQ system. It sits between the VacQube pump (VCQ124) and your VacQports or VacQpods. Buy it if you are building a vacuum workholding bench and want fast, hands-on release for every piece.

Mount the switch at the front edge of the bench where your hand naturally lands. The point is releasing a part without reaching, so put it where you would reach for a clamp handle.
Tool Nut's Take
The Fastest Way to Let Go
The Swan VacQswitch VTSRV2 turns vacuum release into a one-flip move.
- Who it's for: Anyone running VacQ workholding who swaps parts often.
- Why it stands out: Instant vent plus a built-in muffler, with two independent lines on one plate.
- Worth knowing: It controls vacuum, it does not make it. You still need a pump such as the VacQube.
Common Questions
- Do I need to turn off the pump to release a part? No. The switch cuts vacuum and vents the line while the pump keeps running.
- What size airline does it take? 1/4-in. airline through push-connect ports.
