The Vessel 1006PBU Premium Wood Handle Tang-Thru Screwdriver Set, 6-Piece is a Japanese-made screwdriver set for woodworkers, carpenters, mechanics and serious DIYers. This is a tang-thru screwdriver set designed for general fastening and for freeing stuck screws with a hammer strike. Model Number: 1006PBU.
Tang-thru construction means the blade passes all the way through the handle. You can strike the end to shock a rusted or painted-over screw loose, something a standard screwdriver handle will not survive.
The handles are premium wood and the blades are chrome-plated steel alloy. The Phillips tips use Vessel's JIS-style tip profile.
The set includes Phillips #1 x 3" (75 mm), Phillips #2 x 4" (100 mm), Phillips #3 x 6" (150 mm), and slotted 3/16" x 3" (5.5 x 75 mm), 1/4" x 4" (6 x 100 mm) and 5/16" x 6" (8 x 150 mm). Total weight is about 1.5 lb. Made in Japan.
