The Wiha 66979-WIHA 35 Piece ErgoStar L-Key Foam Tray Set is a multi-piece L-key set for organized hand-tool fastening and service work. This is a L-key set designed for driving and removing hex-style fasteners by hand. Model Number: 66979-WIHA. If you want a single tray-based setup instead of loose keys rolling around in a drawer, this format makes a lot of sense.

What matters most here is the combination of piece count and storage format. A 35-piece set gives you range across common service and assembly work, while the foam tray keeps each key in a defined spot. That is useful in a shop, on a service cart, or inside a job box where tool control matters and missing pieces slow the whole job down.

The ErgoStar naming tells you this is part of Wiha's organized L-key offering, and the foam tray layout points to a cleaner, more deliberate setup than a loose bundle or basic clip holder. For techs and mechanics who care about fast visual inventory, a tray system is easier to manage at a glance. You can open the drawer, see what is there, and get back to work without digging.

As a hand-tool solution, an L-key set like this is about access and control. L-keys are the go-to choice when you need to reach recessed fasteners, work in tighter areas, or apply steady hand pressure without overdriving. In real use, that means better feel during assembly, maintenance, equipment adjustment, and general service work.

This set is a good fit for users building out a more organized workstation with dedicated foam storage. If your current hex key setup is a pile of mismatched pieces, this is the kind of product that helps standardize the drawer and keep your most-used fastening tools where they belong.

Who should buy it? Anybody who wants a shop-ready Wiha L-key set with higher piece count and tray organization instead of a grab bag approach. That includes mechanics, maintenance crews, industrial techs, machine service teams, and serious DIY users who value organization as much as the tools themselves.
