Overview
The Woodpeckers SLBFPRO-EXT 76 in. Rail Extension Kit adds slab-length capacity to an existing Woodpeckers Slab Flattening Mill Pro. It is an accessory, not a complete mill. The kit contains two 76 in. aluminum V-rails plus the connector hardware that joins them to the main rails of your Pro.
Woodpeckers rates the kit at 76 in. of added capacity on any Slab Flattening Mill Pro. On a standard Pro, which handles slabs up to 48.5 in. x 58 in., the kit takes maximum slab size to 48.5 in. x 134 in., the same length capacity as the factory Pro XL. Width capacity does not change. Woodpeckers bases its Pro capacity ratings on a 2 in. cutter.
This is the practical route for Pro owners who bought the standard length and now need to flatten dining tables, bar tops, benches, or long live-edge stock. You keep your existing carriage, dust collection, and base rails, and add only the rail length you need.
The kit is for Pro models only. If you own an original Slab Flattening Mill (Small, Regular, or XL), use the Woodpeckers SLBFLT-EXT-24, SLBFLT-EXT-48, or SLBFLT-EXT 72 in. extension kits instead.
The kit does not include the router carriage, dust collection apron, base rails, router, router bits, or clamping dogs. Those come with the Slab Flattening Mill Pro itself or are sold separately. The kit ships direct from Woodpeckers at roughly 71 lb shipping weight, so plan for freight-size delivery.
Extend the Mill You Already Own
Buying a second, longer mill to handle the occasional long slab is expensive. This kit adds the length to the Pro you have and leaves the rest of your setup unchanged.
- Two 76 in. aluminum V-rails plus connector hardware
- Adds 76 in. of slab-length capacity to any Slab Flattening Mill Pro
- Standard Pro: 48.5 in. x 58 in. becomes 48.5 in. x 134 in.
Rails That Match the Pro
The extension rails carry the same V-rail profile as the main rails, so the carriage keeps running on the same plane across the joint and the length of the slab.
- Connects directly to the main V-rails of the Pro
- Made for Pro models only; not for original Slab Flattening Mills

Pro Tip
Set the extended rails on a flat, fully supported base before joining them. The mill references off the rails, so any sag or twist in the support under a 134 in. run shows up in the slab.
Tool Nut's Take
The cheapest path from a standard Pro to full-length slab capacity
If you already own a Slab Flattening Mill Pro and keep running out of length, this kit is the upgrade. It gets you to Pro XL slab length without buying a second mill.
- Who it's for: Owners of a Woodpeckers Slab Flattening Mill Pro who need to flatten slabs longer than 58 in.
- Why it stands out: 76 in. of added length that keeps your existing carriage, dust collection, and setup.
- Worth knowing: This is rails and hardware only. It does not include the carriage or base rails, and it does not fit original non-Pro mills.
