Duromax Generators
Choosing a DuroMax Generator
DuroMax generators cover backup home power, RV use, and jobsite power. This collection runs from the 2,300-watt XP2300iH inverter to 15,000-watt V-twin and EFI models. Fuel options include gas-only E models, dual fuel EH hybrid models that run on gas or propane, HX dual fuel models with CO alert, and HXT tri fuel models that add natural gas. DuroMax gasoline water pumps, 10- and 12-gauge extension cords, and weather resistant covers round out the lineup.
What to Look For
- Wattage. Add up the running watts of what you need to power, then leave room for motor starting loads.
- Fuel. Propane stores well for standby use. Tri fuel HXT models can connect to natural gas.
- Inverter or open frame. iH inverter models such as the XP2300iH and XP9000iH produce clean power for electronics.
- Cords. Heavier gauge cords carry more current over long runs.

DuroMax Generators FAQ
What warranty covers DuroMax generators?
DuroMax generators, engines, and water pumps carry a 3-year residential and 1-year commercial warranty. iH and iHT inverter models and HX and HXT models carry 5 years residential and 1 year commercial, except the XP2300iH, XP4500iH, and XP9000iH, which carry 3 years residential. Cords and accessories are not covered by the equipment warranty but include a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
Dual fuel or tri fuel?
Dual fuel models run on gasoline or propane. Tri fuel models such as the XP13000HXT and XP15000HXT add natural gas, which suits a home with a gas line and a planned hookup.
