Festool hand sanding rolls let you tear off exactly the length a job needs. This collection carries two types. Granat rolls are 80ft long and run from 40 grit for heavy stock removal up to 800 grit for fine finishing. Vlies abrasive pad rolls are a non-woven material, 4-1/2" x 32ft, in 100, 320, 800, and 1000 grit, for scuffing between coats and cleaning up contours.
What to Look For
- Paper or non-woven. Granat paper cuts and levels. Vlies scuffs and conforms without cutting through edges.
- Grit spread. Granat rolls cover 40, 60, 120, 150, 180, 240, 320, 400, 500, 600, and 800 grit.
- Usage. One roll replaces a stack of sheets, which suits shops that sand by hand every day.
- Backing. Wrap a cut length around a block or dowel to keep surfaces flat or follow a profile.
