Replace it when abrasives start to slip or fly off, when the hook face is worn smooth, or when the pad edge is torn. A damaged pad can also gouge the work.
Is a sander pad covered by the Festool warranty?
Festool's 3-year limited warranty excludes consumables and accessories, and pads wear with use. Register your sander within 30 days of purchase to add warranty all-inclusive service on the tool itself.
