This harnesses collection covers two different jobs. Werner fall protection harnesses include BaseWear standard and positioning harnesses, UpGear premium, Easy-Wear universal, LITEFIT climbing, Blue Armor retrieval, ProForm F3 climbing and positioning, and a Hi-Viz standard harness, with two BaseWear kits that add a 3-ft. or 6-ft. DeCoil lanyard. The rest carries tool weight: DeWALT and CLC work suspenders, the Klein MODbox tool vest, CLC back supports, and a Klein pole climber system with replacement gaffs.
What to Look For
- Harness style. Standard harnesses suit general fall arrest. Positioning harnesses add side connection points for hands-free work, and climbing and retrieval harnesses serve ladders and confined spaces.
- Sizing. Universal harnesses adjust to most wearers, while others are listed by size such as S, XL, or XXL.
- Lanyard included. Most harnesses here are sold alone. The BaseWear kits with DeCoil lanyards give you both pieces in one listing.
- Load support. Suspenders and tool vests move tool belt weight to your shoulders. They are not fall protection.

Do work suspenders count as fall protection?
No. Work suspenders and tool vests only carry the weight of your tools. Fall protection requires a rated harness like the Werner models here, connected to a suitable lanyard and anchor.
Do I need a separate lanyard?
Yes, unless you buy a kit. A harness alone does not connect you to an anchor. The Werner BaseWear standard harness is offered with a 3-ft. or 6-ft. DeCoil lanyard, and the other harnesses are harness only.
