Knipex Screwdrivers

Knipex Screwdrivers for Electrical and Precision Work

Most Knipex screwdrivers here are 1000V insulated, built for electricians who work near live parts. Singles come in slotted, Phillips, and square drive tips, and 5- and 6-piece insulated sets cover the common sizes. The collection also carries Witte screwdrivers, including MAXXPRO, PROTOP, TOPPLUS stubby, and WITTRON precision and ESD models, plus a few Rennsteig pin punches and an awl.

What to Look For

  • Insulation. Choose the 1000V insulated models for panel and device work. Standard drivers are fine for general assembly.
  • Tip type. Slotted for terminal screws, Phillips for most devices, and square drive (R1, R2) for the screws common in boxes and devices.
  • Size class. WITTRON precision and ESD drivers handle electronics. TOPPLUS stubby drivers fit where a full-length handle will not.
  • Set or single. An insulated set is the fast way to stock a bag. Singles replace the size you lose.

The Tool Nut is a specialty tool store and authorized Knipex dealer in business since 1994, with free shipping on most orders and rewards points on each purchase.

Knipex Screwdrivers FAQ

What does 1000V insulated mean on a screwdriver?

The handle and shaft are wrapped in insulating material rated for work near circuits up to 1000 volts, leaving only the tip exposed. It is an added layer of protection for electricians, not a substitute for de-energizing the circuit.

What warranty applies to Knipex screwdrivers?

Knipex-branded tools carry a lifetime limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship for the original end-user purchaser. Claims need proof of purchase and an RGA from Knipex Tools LP, and shipping costs are not included.
