Every Makita 18V LXT and X2 tool runs on these packs. Batteries range from the BL1820B compact 2.0Ah through the BL1830B 3.0Ah, BL1840B 4.0Ah, BL1850B 5.0Ah, and BL1860B 6.0Ah, sold single or in 2-packs. Starter packs pair a battery with a Rapid Optimum charger. Chargers include the DC18RC, the DC18RD dual port, the DC18SF 4-port, and the DC18SE automotive charger. What to Look For

Can I charge LXT batteries on an XGT charger?
Yes, with the ADP10 adapter, which lets an 18V LXT pack charge on a 40V max XGT charger. The batteries themselves do not interchange. LXT packs do not fit XGT tools.
What is the warranty on Makita LXT batteries?
Makita lithium-ion batteries and chargers carry a 3-year limited warranty, with repair or replacement at Makita's option through a Makita Factory or Authorized Service Center. Damage from non-genuine or knock-off batteries is excluded.
