Makita 40V max XGT tools need XGT packs, and this collection carries them: the BL4025 2.5Ah, BL4040 4.0Ah, BL4040F 4.0Ah High Power, BL4050F 5.0Ah, and BL4080F 8.0Ah, plus a 2-pack and a battery and charger starter pack. Chargers include the DC40RA and the DC40RB dual port, with 8-port and 12-port charging cases for crews. Do XGT batteries fit 18V LXT tools?
No. XGT and LXT are separate battery platforms. XGT packs fit XGT tools only. If you run both, a charging case like the BCC01 or the ADP10 adapter lets you charge both pack types from one setup.
What warranty covers XGT batteries?
Makita lithium-ion batteries and chargers carry a 3-year limited warranty. The ConnectX backpack power supply carries a 2-year warranty. Non-genuine or knock-off batteries are excluded from coverage.
