Milwaukee SDS PLUS bits fit SDS Plus rotary hammers for anchor holes, through-holes, and light demolition. This collection includes MX4 4-cutter bits and kits, an 8-piece M/2 2-cutter kit, and a 6-piece MX4 bit and chisel kit. It also carries SDS PLUS rebar cutters from 3/8" to 1-1/2", core bits with a centering bit, bull point and flat chisel demolition steel, and SDS PLUS bits with a 1/4" hex shank.
What to Look For
- 2-cutter or 4-cutter. M/2 2-cutter bits are a good value for general anchors. MX4 4-cutter bits handle rebar contact better.
- Rebar cutters. When a bit stops on rebar, a rebar cutter of the same size drills through the steel.
- Core bits. SDS Plus cores open larger holes for boxes and pipe.
- Hex shank bits. 1/4" hex shank versions are listed in 3/16" and 5/32" sizes, including a 25-pack.

What should I do when my bit hits rebar?
Stop drilling with the masonry bit. Switch to an SDS PLUS rebar cutter of the same diameter to cut through the steel, then return to the masonry bit to finish the hole.
Which kit should I buy first?
The 8-piece M/2 kit covers common anchor sizes at a lower cost. The 8-piece MX4 kit suits reinforced concrete. If you also chip tile or mortar, the 6-piece MX4 kit adds chisels.
