Milwaukee SDS MAX Drill Bits
Milwaukee SDS MAX Drill Bits for Large Concrete Holes
Milwaukee SDS MAX drill bits fit SDS MAX rotary hammers for large-diameter holes in concrete and masonry. Most of this collection is SDS MAX 4CT MX4 4-cutter bits, from 1/2" up to 1-3/4" diameter. Lengths run from 13" overall for short anchor holes to 60" overall for drilling through thick walls and slabs. A 7/8" SDS Max vacuum bit pulls dust through the bit when connected to an extractor.
What to Look For
- Diameter. Match the bit to the anchor, sleeve, or pipe you are setting.
- Length. Bit titles list working length and overall length. Pick a working length deeper than the hole.
- Rebar. 4-cutter heads are less likely to bind when they hit rebar.
- Dust control. Vacuum bits keep the hole clean for adhesive anchors.

Milwaukee SDS MAX Drill Bits FAQ
Will SDS MAX bits fit an SDS Plus rotary hammer?
No. SDS MAX has a larger shank than SDS Plus and fits only SDS MAX chucks. For SDS Plus hammers, use SDS PLUS bits.
How do I read the size on an MX4 bit?
Titles list diameter, then working length, then overall length. For example, 1" x 8" x 13" means a 1-inch bit that drills 8 inches deep and measures 13 inches end to end.
