What to Look For
- Orbit. 5.0 mm models balance removal and finish. 2.5 mm models such as the 625X leave a finer scratch for final passes.
- Pad size. 5" and 6" are general purpose. The 3" 350X reaches small parts, and the 7" 750X covers large panels.
- Random orbit or rotary. The RS 600X rotary sander removes material aggressively on flat surfaces.
