SawStop Blades
SawStop Table Saw Blades and Dado Sets
SawStop sells its own blades sized for its 10-inch saws. This collection carries 10-inch blades for each common task: the Titanium Series 40-tooth general purpose blade, the Titanium Series 80-tooth blade for fine crosscuts and plywood, a 24-tooth ripping blade, and 40-tooth and 60-tooth combination blades. For joinery, the Premium 8-inch dado set comes boxed or in a Systainer.
What to Look For
- Tooth count. 24 teeth rip fast along the grain. 40 to 60 teeth handle mixed work. 80 teeth leave the cleanest crosscut edge.
- Dado width. An 8-inch stacked dado set cuts grooves and rabbets in one pass. It needs the dado brake cartridge.
- Storage. The BTS-DS8-SYS version keeps chippers and shims organized in a Systainer.
Buy SawStop blades at The Tool Nut, a specialty tool store since 1994, with free shipping on most orders and rewards points toward future blades.
SawStop Blades FAQ
Which SawStop blade should I install first?
Start with a 40-tooth blade. It rips and crosscuts well enough for most projects. Add the 24-tooth rip blade for thick hardwood and the 80-tooth blade for veneered plywood and finish crosscuts.
What do I need to run the dado set?
Swap in an 8-inch dado brake cartridge and a dado insert for your saw before mounting the stack. Both are in SawStop accessories.
