Vacuum Hoses

Vacuum and Dust Extraction Hoses

Hose diameter and length set how much airflow reaches the tool. Festool antistatic hoses lead this collection in 27 mm and 36 mm, in 3.5, 5, and 7 meter lengths, plus a tapered 32 to 27 mm hose, a D36 hose for the Kapex, and a Vac-Sys hose. Milwaukee offers 9-foot, 20-foot, expandable, wireless vinyl, and 1-7/8-inch flexible hoses. DeWALT supplies replacement and accessory hoses for its extractors, and Makita, Bosch, and Fein add model-specific hoses. For stationary dust collectors, Jet sells 4-inch hose in 10- and 20-foot lengths.

What to Look For

  • Diameter. Smaller hoses are lighter for sanders. Larger hoses move more air for saws and cleanup.
  • Length. Longer hoses reach farther but lose some suction. Use the shortest length that works.
  • Antistatic. Antistatic hoses reduce shocks and dust cling when sanding.
  • Fit. Confirm the cuff matches your extractor and tool, or add a connector.

Vacuum Hoses FAQ

Why buy a tapered hose?

A tapered hose is wider at the extractor end and narrower at the tool. It keeps airflow up over the length of the hose while staying light and flexible at the sander.

Will a Festool hose fit my other extractor?

Sometimes with an adapter. Cuffs differ by brand, so check the extractor port and add a connector if needed.
