X-Lock Grinders FAQ
Can I use standard threaded wheels on an X-LOCK grinder?
No. X-LOCK grinders accept X-LOCK accessories only. X-LOCK accessories, however, can also mount on standard grinders with a nut and flange.
Do Bosch and Makita X-LOCK accessories interchange?
X-LOCK is a shared interface, so accessories marked X-LOCK fit X-LOCK grinders from either brand. Examples include the Makita bevel brush and Diablo wire wheel in wire brushes.
