The Festool Conturo KA 65 is a handheld edge bander that glues edge banding onto straight, curved, and shaped panels without a stationary machine. Buy the bander alone or with a Systainer3, step up to the Deluxe or Deluxe Master Set, or get the Complete Set with the MFT/3 Conturo work table and MFK 700 edge router. EVA adhesive comes in natural, white, black, and brown 48-packs to match the banding.
What to Look For
- Set level. The bander alone suits occasional work. Deluxe and Master sets add the accessories most shops buy next.
- Table work. The MFT/3 Conturo table lets you feed small panels past a fixed bander.
- Flush trimming. The MFK 700 EQ and MFK 700 Plus edge routers trim overhang flush and clean after banding.
- Glue color. Match the EVA adhesive to the banding so the glue line disappears.

Do I need the MFK 700 router with the Conturo?
The bander applies the banding but leaves overhang. You need a way to trim it flush. The MFK 700 is the router built for that job, and the Complete Set includes it. Smaller shops can start with a trimmer from Conturo accessories.
What warranty covers the Festool Conturo?
New Festool power tools bought from an authorized US dealer carry a 3-year limited warranty. Register the tool within 30 days of purchase to add Festool's warranty all-inclusive service: free repairs for 3 years, wear parts such as carbon brushes, bearings and seals, and a prepaid shipping label for covered repairs. Glue, banding, and other consumables are not covered.
