For basic crosscut work with the Guide Rail Bracket Set, the single dog included with the brackets is enough. For ripping on Track Stars, you'll want a pair for the outboard registration. For extended rip configurations using the Wingman, plan on having two or three pairs ready so you can stage multiple cut setups without swapping dogs between them.
