Crosscut & Miter Fence for Festool MFT and Track Saw Benches
The F2 Surface-Mount Fence is a combined crosscut and miter fence for Festool MFT/3 owners and track saw users who need both square and angled cuts from a single accessory. Mount it on the bench top or on Track Stars to extend capacity, and dial in repeatable angles with any right-cutting track saw.
Your crosscut reference edge.
The F2 is solid, sleek, and versatile, the main fence in the Dash-Board system. It gives you a long, dead-true reference edge on top of your bench so every workpiece registers in the same place, cut after cut. Set the F2 once against your guide rail and the rail brackets, lock it down, and run repeat parts all day without re-measuring. A tongue section slips under the guide rail to support material right near the cut line for cleaner, splinter-free crosscuts.
- 54¾" (1390mm) long anodized aluminum extrusion
- Solid, rigid reference edge for repeat work
- Tongue section supports material near the cut line
- Designed to work with the Guide Rail Brackets and Track Stars

Mount it on any bench with 20mm holes.
The F2 mounts to any 20mm hole grid using our unique sliding Fence Blocks. Three blocks come with each fence, and they slide along the fence extrusion to match whatever hole pattern your bench has. Drop them into the holes, lock them down with all-metal knobs, and the fence is set. No tools. No fasteners. No fiddling with hardware you'll lose.
- 3 sliding Fence Blocks included
- Mounts to any grid of 20mm holes
- All-metal knobs, tool-free installation
- Adjustable along the fence extrusion

Add Track Stars and swing through any angle.
The F2 isn't just for 90-degree cuts. Mount one end to your bench and the other end to a Track Star and you can swing the fence through a wide range of angles, then secure it for miter cuts that set up as easily as a crosscut. The F2 is also compatible with our Reversible Flip Stop for repeat-length miters or angled batch work.
- Swings through wide angle range for miters
- Mounts on Track Stars for added crosscut capacity
- Compatible with Reversible Flip Stop for repeat cuts
- Same workflow whether square or angled

Anodized aluminum. Built to live in your shop.
The F2 is built from a single proprietary anodized aluminum extrusion that resists wear, marking, and corrosion in shop and job-site conditions. A rubber bumper on the end protects the fence and your floor when you stand it up between uses. Like every Dash-Board accessory, the F2 is designed to be the last fence you'll buy.

- Rubber bumper for vertical storage
- Resistant to wear, corrosion, and shop conditions
- Designed for long-term professional use

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the F2 Surface Mount Fence and what does it do? The F2 Surface Mount Fence is the main reference fence of the Dash-Board system, a 54¾" anodized aluminum extrusion that mounts on top of any bench with a 20mm hole grid. The F2 enables repeatable crosscuts, miters, and rip setups by holding workpieces against a consistent edge, eliminating the need to re-measure between cuts. Three sliding Fence Blocks let it mount on any 20mm hole pattern without tools.
- What workbenches is the F2 Fence compatible with? The F2 Fence is compatible with any workbench that has a 20mm hole grid, including the Dash-Board bench, ShortCut bench, Festool MFT3 and 1080, Benchdogs Ultra MFT, Kreg ACS, and DIY MFT-style benches. The Fence Blocks slide along the fence extrusion to match any hole spacing, then lock down with all-metal knobs.
- Does the F2 Fence work with my track saw? The F2 Fence works with track saws that cut on the right side of the guide rail, including Festool, Makita-style rails, Bosch, Mafell, DeWalt, Metabo, Powertec, Milwaukee, WEN, and Grizzly. Verify your saw's blade position before purchase, as the F2 is designed around right-of-blade cutting.
- Can the F2 Fence be used for miter cuts? Yes, the F2 Fence is adjustable to any angle and can be swung through a wide range of positions, then secured for repeatable miter cuts. Mount one end to your bench and the other end to a Track Star, then rotate to your desired angle. The fence pairs with the Reversible Flip Stop for repeat-length miters.
- What is included with the F2 Surface Mount Fence? The F2 Surface Mount Fence includes one 54¾" anodized aluminum fence extrusion, three sliding Fence Blocks, and one rubber bumper for vertical storage. Note that Gen 2 and Gen 1 Fences and Flip Stops cannot be mixed.
