Guide Rail Extension for Wider Track Saw Crosscuts & Rips
The Wingman extends your track saw guide rail past the bench edge for full-sheet crosscuts and longer rips on a Dash-Board, ShortCut, or Festool MFT-style bench. One precision-milled aluminum plate adds 5.25 inches of capacity per Wingman, the lowest-cost way to cut wider than your bench allows.
Push your guide rail past the bench edge.
The Wingman is a precision-milled aluminum plate that attaches to a Track Star or the front Guide Rail Bracket and extends your guide rail's reach. The plate features a slot that accepts the SpiRail Dogs you've installed in your guide rail, so the rail registers in the Wingman. The result is the ability to make crosscuts wider than our standard configuration, including full sheets and rips longer than you could stage on the bench alone.
- Precision-milled SpiRail Dog slot
- Registers your rail beyond our Brackets and Track Stars
- Adds 5.25"/133mm more crosscut and rip capacity per wingman

Full-sheet crosscuts.
With the right combination of other accessories, the Wingman enables full-sheet crosscuts by simply adding it to your front Guide Rail Bracket or a Track Star on a Dash-Board or ShortCut workbench. A pair of Wingman will add 10.5"/266mm to our long rip setup. This is the kind of capacity that turns a portable workbench into a full sheet goods cutting platform without the floor space of a table saw or panel saw.
- Full-sheet crosscut capacity
- Longer long rips
- Replaces table saw and panel saw functionality for sheet work
- Built around the standard Dash-Board workbench footprint

One plate. Two knobs. Done.
The Wingman is one of the smallest, simplest accessories in the Dash-Board lineup, and that's the point. One precision-milled anodized aluminum plate, two comfortable knobs, two washers. The whole kit installs in seconds with no tools and locks down rigid enough to register a guide rail without flex. It's the lowest-cost path to increase rip and crosscut capacity in the Dash-Board system.

- Solid anodized aluminum construction

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the Wingman and what does it do? The Wingman is a precision-milled aluminum plate that attaches to a Gen 2 Track Star or front Guide Rail Bracket to extend your guide rail's reach beyond the bench top. A milled slot accepts the SpiRail Dogs installed in your guide rail, letting the rail register off the Wingman the same way it registers off the bench. This unlocks crosscuts wider than the bench and rips longer than the bench can stage, including full-sheet crosscuts and long rips over 10 feet on the standard Dash-Board.
- Is the Wingman compatible with my Track Stars and Guide Rail Brackets? The Wingman is compatible only with Gen 2 Track Stars and Gen 2 Guide Rail Brackets, both sold separately. It is not compatible with Gen 1 versions of either accessory or with third-party brackets and side-mount platforms. The Wingman attaches with the included knobs and washers, no tools required, and the precision-milled slot is sized specifically for the SpiRail Dogs that ship with the Dash-Board system.
- Do I need the Wingman to make full-sheet rips? You do not strictly need the Wingman to make full-sheet rips on the Dash-Board system, but you do need it to stage rips longer than what the bench and Track Stars alone can handle. For standard 4x8 sheet rips registered along the long dimension, a pair of Track Stars and SpiRail Dogs is enough. The Wingman becomes essential when you need to push the guide rail's registration point past the outermost Track Star, which is what enables rips over 10 feet.
- How does the Wingman work with Parallel Guides? The Wingman works with Parallel Guides by increasing the maximum distance from the cut line that the guide can register against. Standard Parallel Guide setups are limited by the bench width and Track Star spacing. The Wingman extends that reach, enabling wider repeatable rip dimensions than the Parallel Guides could otherwise support. Paired with the Rip Gauge, this lets you set dimensional rips at distances that previously required a much larger machine.
- What is included with the Wingman? The Wingman is sold as a single-unit kit that includes 1 Wingman Plate, 2 Knobs, and 2 Washers. The plate is built from anodized aluminum and measures 8.125" by 3" with a precision-milled SpiRail Dog slot. No additional mounting hardware is required, the Wingman attaches directly to a Gen 2 Track Star or front Guide Rail Bracket using the included knobs. Many owners buy two Wingmen at once to stage the longest possible rip configurations.
