Overview
This is a replacement high-friction strip for DEWALT's TrackSaw guide rail system (DWS5052), mounted to the underside of the track to keep it from sliding on the work surface during a cut.
Unlike the anti-friction strip that helps the saw glide along the top of the track, this high-friction strip works on the underside, gripping the material so the whole rail stays put while you cut.
As the grip surface wears down from repeated setup and use, the track can start to creep during a cut, which throws off accuracy on long or repeated rips. Replacing this strip restores that hold without buying a new track.
This is a maintenance part for anyone running a DEWALT TrackSaw system regularly and noticing the track shifting during cuts.

Tool Nut's Take
Keep Your Track From Wandering
If your rail is sliding on you mid-cut, this is the inboard strip that's supposed to stop that.
- Who it's for: Anyone whose track saw rail has started shifting during longer or repeated cuts.
- Why it stands out: Restores the track's grip on the work surface without replacing the whole rail.
- Worth knowing: Mounts to the underside of the track only — the track itself is sold separately.
