Overview
The Klein Tools 03078 Flame-Resistant Welding Jacket, Large is a long-sleeve welding jacket designed for welding and metal fabrication.
It is made from 9.5 oz flame-resistant cotton twill with a breathable FR mesh back. A fit-under-glove snap cuff, a three-position collar and an extra FR cotton flap behind the snap buttons add heat protection. Two wide, deep interior pockets carry small items. The Large size fits a 40 to 45 in (1016 to 1143 mm) chest in a loose fit.
The jacket is machine washable and weighs 1.5 lb (0.7 kg). Klein lists it as tested to ASTM F1506 Section 7.6 and does not give it an arc rating, so it is not arc-flash PPE.
It suits welders, fabricators and metalworkers.
