The insert is low profile. It fits inside Klein Tools compatible caps without changing how the cap looks or wears, and integrates with the Klein Tools Adjustable Cap (Cat. No. 22014) and Klein Tools Adjustable Bump Cap (Cat. No. 22017).
Construction is an HDPE shell lined with EVA foam, with a K329 foam top pad. Top and side padding gives all-day comfort and a secure fit, and vent holes in the shell let heat escape so it does not cook your head on a summer afternoon. The insert weighs 4.2 oz (118 g).
Sizing is handled with a cut-to-size design. Uncut, the insert fits L/XL head sizes 7-1/4 to 8 (58 to 64 cm). Trimmed, it fits S/M head sizes 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 (52 to 60 cm), without compromising protection or comfort.
